With the CAD Direct functionality, Solid Edge users can directly open native NX files for editing and reuse, and conversely, NX users can open Solid Edge files for the same purpose. This minimizes the need for intermediate file conversions between the two software and ensures design quality.

Customers can easily choose to use either NX or Solid Edge depending on their design needs at any time, allowing them to leverage the strengths of each solution for specific design tasks.
